The Information we Collect
We invite customers to ask questions in relation to our parking services and receive information to allow any appeal or question to be dealt with efficiently and effectively. The information we collect for the following is:
General Customer Query Form: Name, Email, Message.
Business Enquiry Form: Name, Company name, Email, Contact Number, Message.
Business Call Back Form: Name, Company name, Email, Contact Number, Message.
Permit Application Form: Name, Address, County, Phone, Email, Identification Number (student/staff ID), Vehicle Registration, Proof of Residency (where applicable).
Appeal Form: Notice Number, Vehicle Registration, Salutation, Name, Contact Number, Address, Email Address, Message, Supporting Documentation (where applicable).
The forms are then emailed to the relevant department for review / response. We only ask for further information in relation to the customer’s vehicle if it is necessary to deal with their query.
All information is provided freely to NCPS by the customer and is treated with the utmost confidentiality in accordance with all applicable legislative and regulatory standards. A record will be kept of the correspondence if it relates to an appeal or permit or any other service. All information will be kept on file for no longer than 6 months (appeals) or archieved for a year (permits), before being deleted. Permit applications will be cross-checked with the relevant management company / governing body where applicable. NCPS will remove information as appropriate in accordance with applicable legislative and regulatory requirements.
Disclosure of Information
NCPS will not divulge customer information to a third party unless we have received customer authorisation OR we are required to do so by law. Permit requests in some case may be clarified with the management company / governing body.
Security of information
NCPS understand how important the security and confidentiality of all information provided by our customers. Keeping information secure is a priority for NCPS. Our goal is to protect all information received on the Internet in the same way as we would over the phone or by hard copy. In accordance with our obligations to keep data safe and secure even so, NCPS cannot guarantee the privacy or confidentiality of information relating to our customers passing over the Internet by external interference or factors outside our control.
Access to Personnel Information held by NCPS
Under section 4 of the Data Protection Acts, an individual has the right to request in writing, a copy of all personal information held about them by NCPS. A fee of € 6.35 may be charged for such requests. Under the Act NCPS have 40 days to comply with any requests. To make an access request please fill in this Subject Access Request Form and post it to, FAO Data Protection Officer, NCPS, 6 Mount Street Crescent, Dublin 2.
NCPS take every precaution against internet fraud. The highest standards of IT firewalls and precautions are in place and updated as necessary.
