NATIONWIDE Controlled Parking Systems NCPS is delighted to be listed as one of the Best Companies in Ireland 2009, and would like to congratulate and thank all our staff for their professionalism and dedication to NCPS. The organisation has grown from a small business to a medium one over the last eight short years, employing three people in 2000 to over 350 today. According to the Managing Director Jason Ballard the mission statement and values sum up the ethos of the organisation, which is: “NCPS provides professional corporate managed services through valuing its people, clients and customers” NCPS is built on the values of quality, recognition, respect and Integrity. NCPS operates two business models within one structure from its Head Office in Dublin 2. The parking business employs 120 staff and Securit a trade company of NCPS has a staff of over 200 with a management and administration staff of 30. This is the first year NCPS have entered Best Workplaces in Ireland study and are thrilled with our initial success and look forward to improving our position in 2010. NCPS is a people business driven by its customer focus and the professionalism and ownership of all employees. In these tough economic times NCPS face the challenges by focusing on the welfare of its people and the delivery of its services to its customers and clients. Leadership is the key to success in this current climate and NCPS are cultivating and growing strong leadership skills within its structure and always promotes from within. Jason Ballard, MD is focused on the future by dealing with the present. The retention of the staff and the growth of the business and being listed on the Best Companies in Ireland 2009 has underpinned the strategy of putting the staff first and providing a high level of commitment and involvement with all of the staff. This has maintained the high standard of NCPS within the parking and security industry. The journey to being listed on the Best Workplaces in Ireland 2009 list has been a huge learning curve for all NCPS employees. This year will see many initiatives centred on communication and employee engagement. NCPS encourages employees to take responsibility and focus on maintaining and delivering the mission statement and values everyday to each other and the clients. We have a strong commitment to our corporate social responsibility. The MD, Jason and many other employees have given up time to raise money for a wide variety of charities. This year will see a greater commitment to these charities. NCPS are looking forward to the challenges in 2009 and beyond and approach the future with a business strategy built on strong positive leadership and the team work centred on employee commitment.
